I can tell you guys are really into the OEM parts and look but I'm trying to get a driver running and the muffler shops out here on the west coast are kind of pricey(and they can't make the exhaust system look that original). Has anyone ever tried one of those "Magnaflow" exhaust systems that are on Ebay? Is it stupid to think that a boxed up exhaust system is anything but crap?

Gary, only experiance I have is I bought a boxed kit from Jegs that fits this style car. By in large, it worked out just fine but had to do tweaking here and there. Has a nice look but not OEM.

Run Hooker comp plus headers, and three inch mandrel bent exhaust. All that can be bought at Jegs, Summit etc.

I have heard good things about Magnaflow, I went with Pypes as the price through Summit was real good and they also seem to have good reviews, sure looks nice sitting in the trunk ;D

I don't know, I've had the same thoughts myself. However, like nonhog, I've heard good things about Magnaflow and have had them recommended to me as a noise reduction over FlowMasters. My 442 has FlowMasters and they are just a tad too load for me. OK, go ahead and bash me......I'm waiting? Just is I really have a hard time leaving early in the morning on show days and not wake up the entire neighborhood. And it would be nice to go for a drive with my wife and be able to have a conversation without screaming!

Well, Dick Miller used to have a complete 3 inch system, I didn't see it on the website but that doesn't mean they don't have it, but they sure have added a bunch of stuff to their site. Could spend some money there for sure.

I run three chamber Flowmasters. Its deep but not annoying sound.
A made for the car system should fit great. Not junk at all.
