My front passenger side fender is a bit out of line and I would like to fix it while I am doing some work to the Radiator Support. Essentially, the gap between the top edge of the fender and the body (where the windshield pillar is) is too big. It looks like the fender needs to be pushed back, or perhaps raised in the front to help close the gap. I don't see any shims where the fender is attached to the firewall so it doesn't seem like it can be pushed back. And I am not sure if it is possible to raise the front of the fender a bit, which seems like it would close the gap.
The car is fully painted so I don't want to do anything that will damage the paint. Can the bolts be loosened to reposition the fender?
Any tips?

This is one thing that can take days to get how you like it. When I bought my post that was the first thing I did is take the hood off, fenders and started at the doors and worked my way forward. I spent every bit of three days putting it how I wanted it. You can shim up the bottom of the radiator support to make the gap at the top of the fender smaller. If your worried about scratching that blue paint tape on the gaps should help.

What would be the procedure for shimming up the Radiator Support?

Loosen both bolts, remove one and install a washer or two between the rad support and the rubber bushing and see if thats good.

Thanks for the tips. I removed the Radiator Support Bolts, jacked up the passenger side, and the large gap at the top of my fender closed right up. I used two washer shims, installed new bolts, and all is good. Doing this also evened out the gaps on each side of my hood. Next challenge is to get the bumper to sit nice and even.
