Also, ignore the 442 badge on the dash plate, was going the route of a clone but decided not too.

Starting to get excited about the Cutlass now ;D Here's a couple pix of the paint progress Trunk and Hood BTW...... color is Royal Mist (Code E) Inch by inch . This was before we took 600 grit to it and the two coats of gloss. One or two more to really make it deep then cut and buff! The stripe is still taped here but looks amazing with the tape off! Oh yea, made sure we got the spot above the bumper too

Looks great! What wheel/rim package will you go with? I think color keyed steelies would REALLY look awesome. But anything would probably look great on that car. Nice work. -pete

Thx, I have SSIII's on it now so probably paint them silver and go with that for a while.
Sasquatch, I'll get the exact paint and color when I get back. We took the paint number from RAMZ site and cross referenced it. Normally the Royal Mist is a little lighter but the additional coats of clear really deepen it. It looks really good up close but struggling with alignment of doors, fenders, hood, etc. Just to picky so may have to settle a little. We'll see.

Alignment is fun, first thing I did when I got my post was take off the hood and fenders, realigned the doors and then the fenders>>so on. It took me a week to get them how I wanted them.

Yeah...isn't there a really specific order that makes it a bunch easier?
-doors -radiator support -back of fenders -hood -front of fenders -bumper
someone wrote it out for me once...think i'm missing a few steps. -pete

I don't know about that but it can be painstaking work. I got he doors how I wanted them then the fenders, but I ended up moving the core support up and then the hood, then you move the fenders again to make the hood gaps correct and on and on. Then you get to the bumper, too much fun.

You start at the edge that cant be moved, the rear of the door. Then you move forward.
