I use to use either Quaker State or Pennzoil but wonder if there is something better to use like synthetic.

I use Valvoline VR-1 20/50, for the high zinc content. If you prefer something else that does not not have the Zinc, I would use an additive.

All of the high-zinc specialty oils (VR1, Driven, Amsoil, etc) are pretty much the same. Don't lose a lot of sleep over this. I use Amsoil only because I signed up for their discount card. I've also used the other two. There's no difference.

I use Brad Penn. It looks like Kendall GT-1 and comes from Kendall st. someplace in Pennsylvania
