Friend of mine is installing a 200-4r behind a 425 in Standard Club Coupe non 442. He has fallen upon some pretty serious health issues and I'm trying to help him get this thing moving in the direction of getting back together. I need to get the column shift connected to the 200, I have enough knowledge in my little brain to do this but I live 250 miles away and with all the stuff that needs to get done on this car it would be nice if I could have what I need bought or made so I can get the linkage on and move on to wiring, install the dash, windows, whatever, so if anybody can help me out it sure would be appreciated.

Just doing a 700R4, it's about the same. Suggest you go to ebay, they offer a column shift connect kit for $35.00 to $90.00 depending on Chinese no name or known vendor. It has the rod to connect to the column, heim joints, and most important, a slotted adjustable shift arm for the transmission. I can help you with the non-computer wiring if need be. Got it all figured out on my swap. PM me for details.

I have a 2004R. All I needed to do is redrill the cross-member, rerout the emerg brake cable and drive away. It works great

The 200-4R puts the crossmember in the TH400 position. The right way to rig the e-brake cables is to use the front and intermediate cables from a 1967 442 with TH400. Rerouting the existing cables is half-fast and may result in the e-brake not working under certain conditions.
