Found out today I have no Brake lights, blown fuse, every time I put one in it blows,I'm thing I have a short in fuse box, I could be wrong.I'm thinking of bypassing it to another power source,my question is,how difficult is it to switch out fuse box if I need one,or any input on things I should check, I'm thinking its just a switch so it should be easy to trouble shoot

Disconnect the ribbon cable that runs under the carpet from the box. That should eliminate in the whole back end. Step on the pedal, if the fuse blows, it's up front, so try the brake light switch on the pedal. Still nothing, no look at your fuse box. If nothing blows, run a continuity test from each tail light to find which is going to ground.

Found that the left brake light works with pedal and left blinker also tail lights both sides work. right side no brake light no blinker, fuse seems not to blow anymore. Disconnected the ribbon put a test light on the dark green prong from the fuse box side and nothing, which should be the right side light, left side works fine, give me some advise, going to have another glass of wine and stare at it for awhile
