I just got my 15x8 and 15x7 with 4 1/2 backspacing, smoothies from Speedway. Planning on going with TA’s on my 65 442, no suspension modifications. What sizes can i run without getting 1/4 rub, what sizes are you running? Thought of 245/60 and 225/60’s, very open for input. Car had 14’s so i have nothing to compare to.

My 225/70 R 15's rub on outside of front fender on turns to lock. Rears are great.

Unfortunately, we need to know wheel width and offset for this info to be useful. Also, disc brakes or not, since the OEM discs push the wheel mounting surface outboard relative to drums.

Ok Joe thanks, a little rub on hard turns i can deal with, so 225/60/15’s should work, what size are your rears, im now thinking of going to 255/60/15’s back there. Also i have the drum brakes and no suspension mods,

Ok, so i just spoke to BFG, the 255’s and 225’s are on backorder until? ?, so ill probably be going with 245’s and 215’s. Asked also about the white letters turning brown, was told its usually fue to yhe preservatives leaching out of sidewall on cars that aren't driven much. So seeing how these tires are often put on specialty or collector cars that are often weekend warriors, not good. L
