Had a guy whose name is Dave siltman send me these pics and some info on them. His dad was the dealership manager at anderson oldsmobile and he got to go to the strip every weekend and hang out at the dealership to watch the car being prepped for racing he was 7 years old when he took the pics. The car ran in b/s and bb/s ran 12.80 to 12.90 at 109 to 110 mph.Dave is now the wholesale manager at the same anderson oldsmobile today and owns a factory racer 69 w-31 still lettered like it was in 69.Guy went through alot of trouble and sent me the pics in the mail for me to post here and on the hamb. pretty cool stuff.

Dave Siltzman is a former owner of my verte. Very nice gentleman who I contacted in late 2007 when I bought my car. Dave gave me a lot of history on the Car and owned my car from 91 to 93 and then sold it due to a divorce. He originally spotted the car laying in a transmission shop in the mid 80's and tried to buy it but there was a lien on the car. He was kind enough to remove the protecto plate so it would not get lost and then purchased the car from the estate of the former owner and reunited the car with the protecto plate a few years later. Just thought I'd share the story. Dave is a wealth of good information and a nice guy who loves Oldsmobiles.

Thanks for correcting, spelling is Siltman, just checked an old registration. Same guy, works at Anderson Ods and has a 69 racer if I recall. I have his address and phone number. I promised to send pictures of his old car. He said he had pictures of the 65's from the dealership. How did you run into him. Great pictures, thanks for getting them and posting.

Thank you, great information. I think I will contact him, he was going to see if he had any documentation or pictures from when he owned my car.
