I have a stock 65 rearend do my axels have c clips in the differantial,to remove axels to replace seals.I'm thinking ir there holes on the outer end of the axel they unbolt,i can't remember and don;t want to take wheels off again to find out.Thanks in advance

no c clips on a stock 65 442 8.2. in order to change the seals you will have to remove (change)the bearings.hopefully they aren't leaking because the bearings are bad and are moving on the axle.that can be a problem

I have found clip Olds rearends under 65 442's

yes,but were they born there? I am inclined to say YES! These were pretty original 65 442's and they were Oldsmobile 3:55 posi rearends.
