There is nothing UNMOLESTED about that car. If that car is unmolested, good news! You kids mothers are still virgins. What is with that air cleaner? I think they painted a rough car and think it doubles the value. I had them send pictures of the bottom. Untouched and rusty!

Interesting description they give. But what`s even more ludicrous than describing that car as "unmolested" is the fact that the autotrader appraisal only allows 10% added value for the optional 425 if so equiped

My thoughts exactly. You'd think dealers would want to maintain some level of credibility? Guess not.

My thoughts exactly. You'd think dealers would want to maintain some level of credibility? Guess not. A person would think so, but the world today has changed. I was in the auto/equipment resale world for the better part of my adult life, honesty is not the top priority. In the case of this particular dealer, he/she is not concerned about a repeat/satisfied customer, there hope is to lure a uninformed, knuckle dragging "victim" in by a well written description. There ONLY concern is the size of the checkbook compared to the brain

There ONLY concern is the size of the checkbook compared to the brain Most dealers neither have the expertise to know what is correct or not, nor do they care. As the high-dollar auction houses have demonstrated, there are too many people with waaay more money than brains to worry about stuff like this.

If you take the time to look at the close-ups (exclude the interior). Look at the serial number plate. the paint prep around it couldn't be any worse, rough and lumpy. Now look at all the other pics, they all show how shabby this $24,900.00 car really is. I had them send a lot of pics of the bottom, now it IS UNMOLESTED AND TOTALLY UNTOUCHED, everything is surface rusted. At half the price, you would have room to restore it, but paying top dollar is nutz.

Dealers like this font care, that has been proven over and over. This one is banking on the new trend of barn finds and survivors. It's cool now to have an: unmolested - barn find - 50 y.o. survivor - so collectors with more money than sense want in do dealers like this play upon that want. And to make matters worse there is so little info on Olds in general they can make shit up.

just to add some fuel to the fire the inner fenders look a little to shiny...wouldn't they have been more semi or flat black?
also being a Fremont car, where is the PVC valve??? (magic mirror Finnish).
