OK, what does that part do? I have no heat and cant figure out why. Has AC. I replace the vacume part coming off the intake, I really dont know where to go from there except check the themostat. I appreciate any help on this!!!

I appreciate any help on this!!! The part pictured above is the "blower motor resistor"; it only controls the speed of the blower motor. See if your heater hoses get hot after the car warms up. If not, you could have a problem relating to the heater control valve. I know that you said that you replaced it, but it needs vacuum to it to work. You may have a problem with the vacuum portion of your heater control on the dash.

the valve acted like it worked when I installed it. I will use my old one and cut the diafram portion off that way I know its open. The heater core was not blocked from what I can tell. Tomorrow will be a good day to mess with this because its cold here in NC. Thanks ofr the help!
