Red and blue combos (both ways) were a popular color combo going way back to the 30's. It kind of petered out by the late 60's. That car has a nice dash pad.

That may depend on your level of color blindness. I never thought Sterling to be blue, I say silver / gray.
This is the only picture I have of Sterling. ( Note the absence of arm rests ) Bad Lighting / dirty seats

The hard surfaces are blue. Steering wheel and dash are blue. Seats may be silver grey, but there is a lot of blue with the sterling.
