Holy crap Nick! I'm jealous as s#*t, I'd kill for that thing!
Way to go can't wait for the updates as you restore that great piece of Detriot (Dearborn) iron.

That makes our 442 look like a GTO as far as being rare. That is like almost an ultimate find, it could of only been better if it was a Boss 429. And of course a 69 instead of a 70 would be nice. Just joking about the year, how about some interior shots when you get a chance.

Here are some more pictures of the cage and dash. These were taken while it was tucked away in a barn and are the best ones I currently have. I originally thought that Holman Moody had built this car but after some research found that it was not. I may throw it back on the trailer and roll it down Woodward this week per Jasen's suggestion. Big Mike, I'd prefer you be envious instead of jealous!! I still think the ultimate find would be a 66 w-30 or a 65 442 bare bones post 4-speed with no options. It's kinda hard when you've got bronze paint running through your veins. 65s always will be and have been my first choice. Nick

Have you posted the car anywhere else, like some Mustang boards? Id like to read the comments if you have.

We are going to leave it like it is for now. I'm trying to gather as much info as I can by contacting the previous owners. I've already gotten more info out of the original owner than I have the guy I got it from. A guy from the Boss website said he has a registry of road raced Mustangs from 64-72 and this car is in his registry. Used to have number 70 on the side. He said ha has pictures of the car from 1990 at a Shelby reunion at Domino Farms in 1990. I'm trying to get copies of those.

Leaving it in race trim is always cool and if there are pictures and paperwork that would be a big plus.

Damn, 6800+ miles on/at SCCA races, now that's low mileage! I guess envious would be better, but jealous is more accurate.
