I have the 1965 Chassis Service Manual. It shows specs for the V6, 330, and 425 engines, but nothing on the 400. Where would the 400 info be?

The 400 info is in the revised edition. You apparently have a very early printing, before the 400 was released. What's the printing date of yours?

I've only seen and have the earlier version. To be honest, I don't remember. It's been a while since I looked at my 65 CSM. I do know that the 1961 F-85 manual has an original and a revised version. The latter includes the mid-year release of the 4bbl version of the 215 (among other changes). I'll also point out that no version of the 1964 CSM includes any info on the Vista Cruiser, since that model was released in Apr 1964. By then, Olds was already working on the 65 CSM.

You will find some information on the 400cu inch engine on Jasen Ramsey`s homepage, the 400 is in the assembly manual he shows on the homepage.
