You have to pull the rear arm rest/panel assembly and then there is a metal access panel on the inside that has to come off. Not a bad job, I'd say a 2 beer job.

If you buy new emblems, the posts are alot longer than you need. Need to grind them down., but take your time its kinda a fine line for the speed nust.

thanks for the head's up...I'm thinking that is what I will do. Mine are kind of pitted and I think it would really make a big difference to just replace them. Any thoughts on who sells the best quality for the best price?

The new speed nuts are available at fastenal. Various sizes but accurate. I paid 13$ for all nuts on trim and scoops and tailpanel.
