Hey Folks - I'm new to the forum. Recently purchased a sweet '65 convertible. I have two boys (9 and 3) that are physically handicapped and will require a car seat to provide them the support they need to safely ride in the car. My desire is to install rear seat belts so that I can secure their car seats safely. In a perfect world, I would install seat belts that look OEM. Any thoughts or recommendations for completing this project (from venders to techniques) are appreciated. My dream is to drop the top and let them feel the wind in their hair! Thanks in advance!

Google ultrahighcompression click on jasens red car and click on intrior. He has perfect detailed pics on seatbelt installation. I did the same as jasen did.

For what it's worth, rear seat belts were a factory option in the 1965 model year. RPO A64, for $12.91.

Wow...what a great document. Where could I purchase one of those from? That is the 1965 Salesman's SPECS brochure, available online. Edit: Apparently this bulletin board software doesn't highlight hyperlinks. Click on the words "available online" in the line above.
