is your stock stick a 442, or tube shifter(non 442) the 442 sticks are tough to beat if you want looks, my opinion but definitly hurst comp plus shifter

I have the stock 65 442 shifter I would like to use it with a new hurst shifter .I was told by a forum member that if i used it with the adaptor it would raise the stick 2 inches is this true ? and if so is that a big deal I mean would i even notice it. Or should i get a stock one may be a 66 or so with a 442 hurst stick and use that my concern is for the money i would rather go new sence they both run about same price and the older one would be 50s year old

See what you think of his shifters . I do believe he his cars are changed to the hurst gate. Buy new and get the adapter .
