How full are you guys filling the radiator when the engine is cold? Half way up the upper tank? No big deal... I was just checking mine the other day and the thought came to mind. Guess I could fill it all the way, and let any excess go out the overflow once it heats up, then I'd know it was full enough.

When I fill mine to the top she overflows a little when hot and then settles in. I usually fill to about 1 1/2 inches from the top and it seems to work for me. I have a stock 4 core air conditioner radiator and it keeps her between 170 and 180 degrees without issue.

I seem to have an airflow problem on my 65 f85, post car at anything above 5mph, temps are manageable, over 25 temp stays about 185/190. when idling in stop and go traffic, temps will go to over 215, 7 blade mech fan and 1100cfm electric in front of radiator. 4 core is 2 1/2 years old. I made a shroud that encircles the fan. I have heard that the 65 330 w/o air cond did not come with a fan shroud. True or False?
