Guys, I have the original rear end out of my 65 442 for sale. 485 miles I had the rear end inspected for gear and bearing wear, new drum brakes were installed, the rear end was wire brushed, cleaned and coated with POR 15. It is in excellent condition! It is a 3:23 Posi and works perfect! I will be ready to drive the new setup in a few weeks, The new cam wouldn't be so happy with the 3:23 so I purchased a Moser rear end with a 3:73 to replace the original. The springs do not come with it, but new brake lines, new brakes, new drums do! Located outside of Asheville NC! 600.00 OBO

I didn`t see your "Sale Pending" post when I posted "too rich for me" We were logged in at the same time and posted on top of each other, please don`t think I was being facetious. Just shows how out of touch I am with prices, could be a little geographical difference too, these members are still around this area. Good luck with your sale

These things aren't cheap though, a moser 12 bolt will run you 2500-3500 with brakes. 600 isn't a bad deal for a good rear, with good posi, good bearings and new brakes, about 15 minutes after the first party agreed to take it another called from my home town and wanted it but it was already spoken for. I think my neighbor just paid 275.00 for a bare housing to rebuild.
