i'm looking for some sort of diagram of clutch linkage like clutch fork return springs and that sort of stuff so i'm not guessing when i put this all together maybe a photo of under dash of peddles just about anything thanks

is there a mounting plate for the stock hearst linkage to the m20 or does it mount right to tranny

I believe there a support bracket that the shifter mounts to and the bracket to the M-20, but you would have to verify in the manual.

is that plate for the 65 hearst linkage if so were can i find one all the ones i've seen are for later models Jim, there are two different shifters. A stock 65 shifter is a Muncie shifter. Then there is a Hurst shifter that came in later years, I believe starting in 66.

i have a hearst shifter with 442 on the handle also has the 2 nuts to mount shifter to linkage is that the on that needs a plate ?

ok i'm getting it i have a muncie shifter not a hearst there for i don't need a plate takes a while for these old brain cells to kick in

Get rid of your Muncie shifter gate . Get a hurst gate, buy or make yourself the adapter to mount the Muncie shifter to the hurst gate. You will be happier in the long run.
