I believe I may have tracked down a pair of NOS side scoops. Has anyone ever owned or even seen a NOS set. Im waiting on pics from my sister in texas, bad news is they are not for sale. They were once i guess for over 3gs but never sold.

I have a set of repro ones a member was making and although I have yet to install or paint, they appear to be as nice as you can get. I believe some of the other members have already installed on their cars. I had a set of NOS ones years ago but didn't sell them anything close to 3G. Although they were NOS they had some slight chrome imperfections and had rough edges. Nothing that some heavy polishing wouldn't take care of, but they were not perfect. I also sold a set of used ones that were better than the NOS ones I sold. They came off a wrecked and garaged car in 1966. Those sold for 1250.00 for the set if I remember correctly.

Back in the 1980's a gent ( I forget his name now ) from St. John's, Michigan, began restoring a '65 442. It was a white 2 door hardtop with a grey/blue interior. He had put a 425 in the car which he had some trouble with. I went to see the car during its restoration and he showed me the NOS side scoops that he had ordered for the car and they were still in their plastic wrappings. BTW, they were painted white, the same colour as the car.
