Looks like nothing available that bolts up cleanly. Interested in what those with 2004r tranny's have done?

I used the GM plastic 2004-R cover-had to order the correct fasteners, 4 of them.

Looks like nothing available that bolts up cleanly. Interested in what those with 2004r tranny's have done? The factory plastic cover bolts up pretty cleanly with an Olds 307, so it will fit the same way with ANY 1964-1990 Olds V8.

I've installed three 200-4R's, 1 on a '65, 1 on a '69, 1 on a '73. Covers fit, just had to move one screw hole. Love those 200-4Rs.

The ones from the original trans in each car? The 307/200-4R cars came with covers that bolt right up. No muss, no fuss, no drilling.

here is a picture of mine. Come to find out the two lower holes were stripped, so tapped the holes out using 1/4 20 tap.

I know the late model plastic ones bolt right up, but I've used older plastic ones with some minor trimming, don't remember what I used on the '65, don't have the car anymore.
