Getting ready to paint the under body, frame, core support and inner fenders...car will be on jack stands or body cart for cleaning and painting...I am on the west coast so it appears that some of the paint used for the restorations on this site are not available out here...car will be a DD car not a "show Car" but still wants to look decent...there seems to be a lot of rattle can options for the frame so not as concerned there...was just wondering what others have used for paint in my area...I plan on shooting the under body, firewall and core support and maybe the inner fenders...looking for a black semi gloss or satin finish... Any suggestions would be much appreciated
Thanks

Frame I would blast and epoxy with PPG DP90LF. Then top coat with a quality paint, no spray can. Underbody, again epoxy DP90LF. Flat clear over it. Powdercoat core support, inner fenders.

I'd powder coat anything on the running gear I could. Around here, to blast and powder a frame is under $400.00. Can't spend your time and buy the material for that.

thanks for all of the replies, I'll check out the powder coating...last time I checked it was a little pricy... at least where I am
Streetrod...on the SEM Trim Black is that a matt or semi gloss?...I know one of the SEM Trim Black products is a gloss black...the other doesn't say...just says black...I'm looking for a semi gloss to matt finish...
