I've never seen these '68-69 scoops on our '65's, they look sweet, IMO

Cool! That does blend in pretty well. Not a fan of the mirror headlights, but to each their own.

What you need to see is how they ran the hoses and connect to the air cleaner.

This is what I found out about the car. He used 69 scoops, moved the battery to the trunk and cut holes in the inner fenders.

Yup-black is beautiful....but how this scoops bolt on the bumper? I can't say how they were attached on this car, but in the original 1968-69 applications, they don't attach to the bumper, they have brackets that bolt to the bottom of the core support.

They do look good. It's a good alternative to running hoses from the middle headlights if you want ram air without a scoop.

Not a fan of the headlight scoops? I think they're kinda cool. Not sure I want the look of hoses under the hood, but not much alternative unless you can come up with a grafted-style hood scoop.

I like headlight scoops, just saying it's another way to go.

I'm liking the look of this 65 hood. X2 looks pretty good with as flat as these cars body lines are I think the short hood spear would set it off

I'm liking the look of this 65 hood. Sorry, not feeling the love. The W-25 hood scoops were specifically designed so the leading edge parallels the leading edge of the hood. The width of the scoops is designed to match the width of the grilles. They just don't look good when forced onto another car without attention to those design details. The W-25 hoods for the 1973-77 cars are the worst offenders.

Joe I'm glad you have a different opinion it would be a very vanilla world if we all like the same thing.
