Does any one know of a way to find a 65 442 that was repossed when I was drafted by the Credit Union with the company I worked for. I still have the vin number and what the car was like. Any advice would be deeply appreciated. JIM

Try your state's DMV. They may have a way to search if it is still in the same state.

There is a web site where you type in the Vin and it finds all records related throughout the US. Unfortunately I don't remember the site name, but I'm sure you can search google for it.

Most on-line sites for VIN searches only work with the newer 17-character VINs. If the car isn't currently registered, it's EXTREMELY unlikely that you'll find anything. Even if it is registered, there is no national search engine for all DMVs that I'm aware of.
