Hey Guys,
I'm new to your forum and have a 350 Olds motor that's screaming for some M/T or Holley valve covers. I would like a set with the knock outs still intact since I want to put some Offenhauser breathers on them. Some of the ones I've seen listed here have been beautiful and polished up nice and hope to get a set soon.

I installed a set of M/T polished valve covers, and they looked great. But they don't stay that way, I guess the heat tarnishes them.

To have a longer lasting shine the covers need to be outgassed first, and then maintained as well. Depending on who polished them and how they did it could be a factor!

How do you upkeep them? What do you use to polish them?
