empty doors should be lined high,so when they are loaded the weight puts them right.

May the force be with you, adjusting the doors on my 64 was brutal, having pulled the hinges and strikers and gutting the doors I was forced many times to turn to Mr Miller lite for guidance, and being a wagon, it was double the anguish.I also had the misfortune to have one of the white plastic latch assembly shoes break up with the door in the closed position, this situation sucked real bad.I put more than a few scratches in my freshly painted jambs.

Yeah that door adjust sucks lol
I like all the gaps on the front and lower part of the door, but the back of the door where it meets the quarter just looks to big. there isn't any more adjustment to go back not sure, I will hang the right door and see if it looks the same it could just be me being picky.

from the factory the doors were adjusted to the quarter panel and the door header to roof line. if it was a post car. the front was adjusted to the door as it was installed at oldmobile and not fisher body. i would do that, door to 1/4 then shim fender accordingly. also the whole frt clip was installed as a unit.

This is gonna sound a little out there but, I'd put air in all the tires and try and get some sort of even surface to set the car on. Also, how are the core support mounts and the body mounts?

Thanks I didn't even think about leveling the car with tire pressure all are aired up to 35 except the right rear and it's even a different size then the other three They were junk tire while under construction
