will a rear end out of a 65 el camino bolt up to my 65 442 looks like it should just want to make sure before i pull triger

Should be no issue, and A-body is an A-body. The only issue that could come up is if the El has leaf springs. I don't know off the top of my head if they had leaf or coil springs

I think you will have to buy one of the u-joints that has inside clips on one side AND outside clips opposite. Your Olds uses inside clips and the El Camino uses outside ones. I put a 65 442 rearend under my '40 Chevy coupe (had a '67 Camaro under it) and had to use one of those to buckle her up.
