I need some weatherstriping for a 72 cutlass supreme 2dr hardtop & 65 cutlass 442. 2dr hardtop. Where does everyone think the best place and the best quality to purchase it from. SoffSeal, Steele Rubber, Metro Moulded parts. Or maybe places like Year One, Original Parts Group or some place like them. The most important thing is how close to original they are and the ease of putting them on the car. I thank everyone for the help. Have a great 4th of July holiday to everyone. JIM

I purchased all my weather stripping from opgi but would never again. My vent seals are complete trash in less than a year they started failing and are now severely cracked being held in place with super glue. They are in way worse shape than the 45 year old ones I removed. Check the chevelle forum there are several topics about this apparently not all seals are created equal.

For what it's worth, I bought all my seals in 1993 from Year One... most were Soffseal. Stored them for years... finally installing them on the car just last year. Still very soft. If I did it again today, based on my experiences with other parts I've bought more recently, I would think Fusick would be the place to go.

Steele makes excellent products and makes many of the items resold by restowarehouses. I've used Fusick's last time I bought weatherstripping and they were great, no complaints.
