just noticed i have i cracked exhaust manifold left side driver side i'm not sure if its leaking yet its next to bolt hole were power steering pump bolts on on now that being said does any one have a nice one the want to part with so when this one starts to leak i'll have one i'm also thinking of maybe headers but trying to keep car stock i kind of like that look does any one have ideas on headers which ones are good meaning easiest to install without having to take a hammer to get them to fit thanks in advance for ant advice i still want a manifold though

I agree, the Thornton exhaust manifolds are nice and for $299 not a bad price for the set. I'm rebuilding my motor now and cleaning up the old manifolds but leaning towards a new set since I looked at the ones HurstOldz just bought. I think RIP Olds also bought a set last year.

so you think just stay stock no headers Headers that fit are gonna cost you $1000.00 unless you are in to hammering them or cutting frames and changing control arms. then go buy yourself a cheap set of headers.

are those thorntons coated with anything to keep from rusting or are they just natural cast

if there natural should they be painted or coated with something?

i believe they came unpainted from the factory, but black seems to be the most common color now. i would paint them to help preserve them
