And the 425 forged steel crank. Some also use the 330 as its forged steel as well, at least the early ones are.

i think i remember seeing a ford 9" with nodular center section as being a good one. not the same with cranks eh, i know steel 455 ones are rare though

I don`t know if this is the place, if not it can be moved. I`ve got a 425 (1965) steel crank still in a running engine. Oil pressure was 40sh. Doesn`t appear the crank was ever out. If anyone is interested I could pull it sooner than later.

I also have several of each, 330 & 425, auto and stick; some cores, others already ground. All 330 & 425 were forged from the factory. RICKMAN got a 400/425 stick crank from me last year, ground and ready to go. I also have a 330 crank going to someone else which I had stroked to 3.5", with 2.000" rod journals, for small block Chevy rods. If interested, e-mail: drolds1@bellsouth.net.
