The door glass is pretty straight forward, regulator then door glass. It will help if you remove the "L" shaped glass stop at the bottom so you can get your glass down further in the door cavity. Loosen all the regulator attaching hardware, if you have help that`s great, if not you just gotta wrestle it a little. Now remove all the regulator hardware while holding the glass up about mid-way in the cavity, (lay an old towel in the bottom of the door just in case) now jockey the regulator out of the window channel (keep a window crank near bye minus the retainer clip just in case you need to roll the regulator) Push the window glass all the way to the top of the window frame, secure with duct tape. Now remove the regulator from the holes in the door skin. Lower the glass all the way down, remove the hardware for the vent glass, tip the top of the vent frame rearward and at the same time inwards to the inside of the door frame, as you go back and inwards you can also go upwards. The front channel for your door glass is part of the vent glass frame so be careful not to get all manly and grunt the vent glass out and end up breaking your door glass. Your door glass is loose so you can move it around some to keep it out of the way. Sounds like alot, but 1/2 hr. tops. If you want all the room you can get you can also remove the rear door glass channel Vent glass assy. screws thru door frame to vent frame One long screw just below vent lock Channel adjuster/anchor at bottom of channel

Another way I tried this once was to remove the glass stop, remove regulator, let the glass all the way down, lay the regulator in bottom of door cavity, remove vent frame as described, then remove glass out the top, then remove regulator. It worked on a car that I was only interested in salvaging the vents, but once the vents were out I just figured, everything else is disconnected, so I reached in and grabbed em. Not my choice of procedure, too much junk in there that can do damage.
