Folks: I've made a decision to sell off my; "project - I'm going to restore it someday" cars. Between my health issues with my back and my recent knee surgery, I've come to the realization that I'm just not ever going to restore these cars and even parting them out seems like a huge task right now. I'm just going to concentrate my time effort and dollars on my 442. These three cars are all Cutlass'; a Sports Coupe, Holiday Coupe and a Vert, of course all 65's. I have a guy who is interested in a package deal for all 3 and I could really use some help on giving this guy a fair price. You can see pics of the Sports Coupe here; w29.boards.net/index.cgi?action=gotopost&board=swapmeet&thread=2544&post=20599:You can see a pic of the Holiday Coupe and some info on my website; bigmikes442.com/_wsn/page2.htmlI don't have any recent pics of the Vert. The Holiday coupe runs and drives, it needs a new ignition switch right now. All of the cars have rust issues, the Vert being the worst (think like that coupe that Nick {I believe} parted out, not quite as bad, but close.) and the HC being the least, but still rusty and has damage to both front fenders, not bad. The SC and Vert are floor shift autos with consoles, the HC is a column shift auto. The Vert has A/C, the SC has a clock, and is a two tone car. All 3 are Lansing cars. That's about all I can think of for now. Let me know what you think a fair price would be to have all 3 gone in one shot? Thanks

OK, so my post has been looked at 57 times and NO ONE can help with some prices? And don't say you need pics of the Vert, it's a rusty piece of crap that hasn't had a top on it for over 15 years and had a tarp on it that constantly gets blown off in storms. Floors are gone, trunk is gone, cowl AND dash are rusted out - quarters - do I really need to tell you, its a vert?
Come on, shoot me a price for all three would ya? Help a guy out who normally just buys and never sells!

Honestly the vert and post are pretty much junk. I wouldnt pay anything for them. Sounds like the only car that runs and drives is the hardtop. No more than a grand Id say.

Mike I didn`t mean to ignore you, really! Fact is, I myself never paid more than salvage price for anything I`ve bought. So my opinion would be on the super low side. Others that are here looking for a builder are probably looking for better. The parts pimps, the ones that do little more than buy and sell here, buy low, sell high. The hardtop doesn`t look all that terrible, a grand for it seems light to me. The post, I guess a real skinny parts car. The vert ? don`t know. If I was looking to build something, with the post and vert as parts cars, selling left over items, I wouldn`t think your buyer could get hurt at 2000.

Thank you all for our thoughts and advice.I was thinking $1500 would be a fair price given the condition. I know I could make way more money parting them out, but that, I feel, is more than my old "frame" can handle right now and selling all 3 in one shot i the best way to go.
Then I just have to decide which of the numerous parts I have that I would realistically want/need to keep then sell the remainder.
Thanks guys,

Since I'm kinda the new kid on the block I'd say about the same thing as Postcar. It's pretty hard to tell someone what they should sell there stuff for. Just remember, you can always lower your price. But, it's pretty hard to raise it. GOOD LUCK.
