They must only make the cruiser version of the 442 because if they made a racer version it would have a post.lol

that is awesome!! its about time! i have been looking for years for one and have never found it... you would have to buy a 66 kit to get the engine, transmission, etc.

It is a cutlass… it doesn’t look like it has the side moldings or tail panel on it either… They are resin bodies though, not polystyrene or whatever they are normally made out of. These are a lot harder to work with and require lots of prep before painting, i.e.- sanding and filling imperfections in the resin. I had to rapid-prototype a model of some of our equipment for work, and then finish and paint it. It is not an easy task. These models are definitely not for a beginner. Plus, you have to buy another model kit to get the drive train and whatever else. They are in stock, and they are $53. You only get the body, interior, dash, chassis, and windows. They have a whole bunch of models that you cant get anywhere else too, like a 64 vista cruiser* If the 65 cutlass works out I might get a vista and have it for a tow vehicle. Haha Here is a link to their website: www.resinrealm.net/GALLERIES/RRGallery/index.htmlHere is their email address: stevekohler@cox.net I am going to get one and try it out… I am thinking of getting the 66 442 kit (I think Revell) you can buy pretty much anywhere for the rest of the parts so it actually has an olds motor in it…
