Anyone know where I can buy the translucent oval plastic clips that are pushed into the door that hold on the door panel, I checked fusick, parts place, year one and found nothing. Or do you drill out the holes and use the clip that I have sitting on the rag in this pic?

Auto Value stores have a house brand line of fasteners. Also, any body that sells Droman products. Maybe an upholstery shop? That was a popular fastener, someone will have them. Some of the newer GM cars still use one similar.

just got back from two auto part stores and one hardware store and came up empty handed. I don't understand if they still use these today Ishould be able to find them anywhere, right. I even paged through a fastener catalog in hopes of ordering them.

Try an auto body/paint supply house. My local shop has a whole wall with every plastic clip and fastener you can think of. And I believe someone (Big Mike?) found an online place that has them. A search may turn up the post about them.

Auto Value house brand,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Parts Master#pm46093 looks the same but I don't know the exact size. Does say it takes a #6 or #8 screw. But, Ramz's right, a body shop supply should have some too. Another brand you might try is called Au-ve-co products.

Just found a web site called,,,,,,,,, clips and fasteners .com It's new to me, maybe some of the others now about it. They've got lots of stuff. Did see some nylon inserts but don't know if they would work for what you need. Looks like they have "stuff" and the prices didn't look too bad.

This was covered under one of my posts (PUI Door Panels) where I described the whole door panel procedure. Copying the link from the post does not seem to be working but you can search for "PUI Door Panels" and it will come up. I think it is also on Bro's website. Be sure to go search back at least 1500 days. The grommets are GM part # (NO3617), and is sold at NorthlandFasteners.com. I also saw them at Autodiscountfasteners.com. Northland sells a box of 25 for "cheap"! (.25 cents ea.), and the gentleman was very helpful. Try this link shop.northlandfasteners.com/General-Motors_c64.htm
