Does anyone repop the lens at the back of the manual trans console? If not, does anyone have an extra one I can buy?

Mine doesn't have a rear light and never has. It is simply molded to look similar to the lense, but it is black like the rest of the console base.

I bought a repro console base from Bothers and it says its for the 1964 - 1969 olds. I have the metal filler piece, but no lens. I'm pretty sure the 66 / 67 consoles had a lens at the back? After looking a RAM Z's pic's I noticed his does not have a lens either.

Mine has the light & lens. I could send a pic, but I don't have a spare. Ralph

I painted mine black, so the lens doesnt show anymore. Ive seen a few like that. The 65 Olds assembly manual shows a harness and light for that lens, but everyone Ive talked to about it says Olds never installed a light in the manual console. The console brackets have a V in them, thats where the harness runs. But there isnt any proof that Olds actually installed it.

Hmmmmm....
Mine has a light! I'll let you guys know if it looks original & it works. Probably take a couple days. I've got the car in the shop putting dual brake cyls & roll control on.
