Think I know the answer to this already but with the drive shaft and yoke out of the TH350, when I jack the front of the car tranny fluid poors out of the rear tailshaft. Assuming this isnt normal and that the rear seal is shot?

Assuming this isnt normal and that the rear seal is shot? With the yoke out there is nothing to keep the fluid in, so your example I would consider normal.

Go to McDonald's, get yourself a senior coffee for 50 cents (assuming your old enough) enjoy arguably the best cup of coffee you can buy. Now push the empty cup over the tail shaft, been using them for years, several transmissions in the barn with cups on them.
