I want to clean up the extra Torker intake I have a bit better before I put it on eBay along my with ported "C" heads, and the local media blaster wants $80 to clean up the top surface. WTF??? I paid $700 for them to do my whole car!
I hope hot tanking it will be good enough.

I've got a gutted aluminum block V8 (with heads and intake) that I want to get blasted and the local guy told me $50 if he can blast it with another job... $80 seems like a lot.

There used to be an acid you brushed on, and hosed off with water - came out new!! Ask at a paint supply!
