Yes and no. Original paint, with everything else original, will make it worth more at selling time. However, if the paint is a non traditional color, say puke green on a Chevelle, or in your case turq on top and white below, it may bring more if you paint it black or red.
But remember these cars arent popular so painting it red or black may not make a bit or difference.
Main thing is its your car, make it how you like. Personally Id like to see it repainted the stock color, its a rare scheme and you wont see another like it.
And that thin piece of chrome on the C pillar is where the colors change.
