Go to Jasen's site and go to the assembly manual page, (if you don't have one), and look at section #5, page # 7-11.1. It goes over the stabilizer bar, basically a straight shot off the cross member.

I need help with how the lines are bent around the oil filter to the trans. I do not have an assembly manual. For some reason my 67 manual does not show it either. I just need a reference, picture , diagram to bend my own.

oldsproject, nice pics. Favor please ! 5th picture, motor and frame pad pic. Looks like new mount, do you have manufacturer name and part number? Are the pads original to frame? What engine was original to vehicle ? Possible to get a measurement from center of thru bolt to cross member surface ? No biggie, just for my braincells.

Thanks Post, if your referring to the transmission line bracket and pad that's the existing mount just cleaned up, pads are new and came installed on the transmission lines. Car is an original 442 so had a 400. Not sure what measurement you need but happy to get it. I do have another transmission bracket still on the original tranny and lines I pulled from the old yellow 442 if you need some details on that. Also another frame sitting out in the weeds that it came off of. Let me know exactly what your looking for.

What I`m interested in is information on the engine/motor rubber mounts (possible manufacturer & part #) And are the frame pads (that the motor mounts sit on) original to the 442 frame? Measurement from the center of the cross ( or thru) bolt to the surface of the cross member just below it. You`ve already stated it`s a true 442, So I just need info on the frame pads, motor mounts, and a measurement. Thanks. Damn, I hate calling them MOTOR mounts, makes my typing finger tremble

Well why didnt you just say motor mount, makes it much easier....... belive I got them from supercars but others have them. They are exact knock offs of the original mounts (identicle). Ive got a couple in the garage some place that Ill dig up.

I wish I had the photo shop skills others have on the forum, then I could take your photo of the frame pad & motor mount and scribble on it showing the info I need. I don`t need any parts, only information. It`s for a compilation of info Ive gathered, and is only needed for comparison purposes.

Great pics now I have an idea what to work with. Tight clearances around the exhaust manifold, tranny dipstick, oil filter. But I have chosen to bend my own, its a learning process. I will post the update as soon as I get this accomplished with the core support etc. installed.

Another question because I did not take enough pictures and want to be sure. Does the top line go to the drivers side of the radiator? I'm also assuming either way it will be the same install with my 2004r.
