Happy New Year to all board members! I wish you all lots of burned rubber this year with no broken parts I recently found a '64 Jetstar "88" in a salvage yard that I believe to have the original #1 head 330 still in it. I took the alternator bracket from it because my car is not wearing the right one. Can anyone tell me if this is the correct one for a '65 442? Also you can see the pics that I have the pulley as well. The numbers on it confirm that it is correct for my car as per the assembly manual. I got this stuff for a song. .

Club442 is correct. 330 bracket is too short for a big block, you`d have to extend the bottom leg to bolt it up.

Do you mean a 64 394? did not know they put a 330 in a big car in 64? Either way he has the right part.

A friend of mind is also looking for the correct set up. He is putting a 425 in his car so would need the big block 400/425 alternator brackets if there is more than one person parting with theirs...

Ive got a mish mash of brackets and pulleys. There are a couple different setups though. One is a stand alone, left side. The alternative one ive seen is drivers side with power steering pump and AC and it seems theres a third setup? Which one do you two need in the unlikely event Andy cant find his, Ill look around.

I just assumed because of the original pic of the small block non AC bracket above, that`s what both rocketguy and familyrides1965 are looking for, but for a big block. If it`s the drivers side (left side) A/C set up you need I can probably help you out, but not for awhile, it`s stored away. The Passenger side (right side, pic above) like I said, can`t help you at this time.

That is what I had heard as well, but I had a better look at this car this week and it definitely has different front and rear suspension than an A body. The car has a power seat in it. Does anyone know if it would work on our cars?
