I have a 1964 olds 330 all original except for petronix hei kit and brand new edelbrock carb, also a spare edelbrock carb that ran good on the car but a little rich, and I cant adjust one so I bought a new one, it has the original 2 speed transmission that has been freshly rebuilt. I drove this car a couple times a week and it ran great, i decided to do a resto mod, so i am selling what i pulled out, I have a perfect 1965 442 radiator, a 1965 425 block only, (no pistons crank, rods) non bored, a set of 1965 A heads complete but will need completly gone through. Both are rusty, not bad, but look like crap. And other misc 1965 442 parts such as window trim, drivers window fender trim. This is super cheap at 600.00 for all! 828-450-3920

If you're both willing to work around it... you need to check with Fastenal's about their shipping services (they call it Third Party Logistics). If you can securely strap it to a pallet, you can ship pretty much whatever from one store location to another, and the charge is typically $100. www.fastenal.com/web/services.ex?action=LogisticsIf you fill out the form, you'll get an email back telling you what store you can take it to, and which store they will be able to deliver it to, and what the rate will be. On items I've shipped (like a set of corvette wheels) or items I've priced (like a pair of "C" head and a torker intake) the charge was $100. You don't even have to box the stuff, as long as it will ride securely on the pallet.

And in my particular case when I shipped 4 wheels to Key West, I didn't have a pallet, but the store did, so they just used the one they had, and secured the wheels to the pallet using their own clear sheet wrap.
When I priced shipping 2 C heads and a Torker intake from Fort Wayne to Colorado, the quotes I got using the UPS and FedEx online calculators came to about $160. Maybe I over estimated the size of the box I was going to have to put each head in. Something that heavy has got to be a biotch to box up and travel safely and not tear through the box.

I really like the fact there all over the country. Easy drop off / pick up for the big stuff. Just used them again today

Glad it worked out... it's nice to see that the service levels appear to be consistent from store to store (based on the very limited sample group).
