Just wondering what other '64-'65 Olds A-body lovers consider their favorite cars. My list changes often, but a few cars will always be included. What are your favorite automobiles? I mean any era, any kind, even if it is just on the top of your head at the present moment. Narrow down your favorite top twenty jewels- the best dream cars.
Here's mine, as of right now anyway (not in particular order):
1964 442 hardtop
1965 GTO hardtop
1964 GTO hardtop
1965 GTO convertible, Mayfair Maize, Parchment, black top...yummy
1965 442 hardtop
1965 LeMans convertible 326 H.O.
1930-31 Model A Roadster, early '50s style hot rod, no fenders, Model A frame (NOT a 32 frame)
1962 Grand Prix
1959 El Camino
1927 T Roadster, early lakes-style hot rod
My '62 Olds Super 88 hardtop!
'53 and '54 Bel Air hardtop or post
1960 Ventura
1965 442 post from the cool vintage photos that RAMz posted...
1965 Gran Sport hardtop
Ok, I'm getting tired...I'll think of more later!

Too many good muscle cars in this period in time.

Cub442, I think I need to put a 61 or 62 Biscayne 409 on my list also. Those are very cool. And a '61 Ventura with a 421...wowee!
And it looks like Bubba has his priorities straight!

You probably read my post before I was done, I was editing ha, hard thing to do, list your favorite cars. BTW, there are so many cars going for dirt cheap on Barrett Jackson this weekend I can't even stand to watch anymore, if only I had a few hundred thou to spend.

Crh ,That 61 was the first 4-speed i ever drove was only 14 years old.Car was white with the tri tone blue interior even had the 8 lugs. What i would do to have that car today. My first car was a 61 impala dad gave it to me on my 16 th birthday 283 w/glide again white w/blue interior.so you can see where my bubble top roots come from although i do like the batwing roof on the biscayne more

The olds has some very cool lines but dont look muscular to me more custom.I just like the batwings because of the sleeper base model look w/dog dish and no chrome

Club442- I bet that must have been an awesome machine. And white with the blue interior, 8-lugs, 4-speed and 421 cubes? Man, I want to have it also!
Those early GM full size cars do make cool customs, like RAM Z said. I am leaning toward making my '62 Olds 88 a Bellflower-era mild custom. Astros, thin whitewall bias ply tires, and lowered suspension might be what I have to do. Everything else stock. I like how '62 GM full size "hardtop convertible" roofs look.
My Olds Super 88 seems rare, because it is the base model but has the cool 394 4bbl option with 330 horses. And man, it rides like a dream with only 68,000 original miles. 65rustbucket did a ton of work on it before I weaseled him out of it. (He got a real '65 442 convert for it, so he shouldn't complain, right...?)

Here's mine, and its in order: 1965 Pontiac Lemans and GTO(hardtop preferred) 1964 Pontiac Lemans and GTO(hardtop preferred) 1962 Pontiac Catalina hardtop(I like the Grand Prix interior though) 1965 Oldsmobile 442(hardtop and/or convertible) 1965 Buick Gran Sport (hardtop) 1966 Pontiac Lemans hardtop w/OHC Sprint 6 engine 1961 Pontiac Catalina/Ventura (hardtop) 1960 Pontiac Ventura (hardtop) The only Ford Product I could go for is a 1958 Edsel Pacer hardtop. I'm not really into MoPars, but '69 Roadrunners are ok. by the way, I knew I shouldn't have sold that '62 Olds to CRH, Now he thinks it's a Super 88 I guess he doesn't appreciate a lowly Dynamic 88 when he has one, eh? ;D Ha Ha Ha!!
