This has probably been hashed over several times, but is there anyone out there willing to part with a good vinyl (rubber) full floor mat for a club coupe? Either 2 or 4 door will do and I can change the color. I purchased a repop from Trim Parts and it isn't going to get the job done. ACC doesn't have them anymore. I would like to get going on getting my interior correct in my '65 442.

ACC never had the correct mat, its never been dupilcated. There isnt much of anything out there unless you find an NOS mat.
Post some pics of your car in the members rides forum. Id love to see your coupe.

There is a picture of mine on BRO's website under Chrome Variations. Mine is the Sterling Mist (silver blue color) with the dog dishes and the redlines. So who has the stash of these mats in their original boxes in every color? I talked with a fellow Club Coupe owner who knew of a guy in Pennsylvania who had several of them that were used but I was not able to follow up on this lead. I see there is also an individual in Arizona looking for this same thing who placed an ad in JWO. I would like to have a picture of what one actually looks like (ie: is it one or two pieces, does it have a molded in floormat on the drivers side, is it molded in color?).

I shouldve checked your email address Jeff. Glad youve joined the forum. I found an NOS take out mat last year, red to boot. The story was the owners mom bought a brand new F85 with the rubber mat. She wanted carpet instead so the dealer changed it out. For some reason they kept the mat. Its two piece with molded holes for the seat belts bolts and the gas pedal perches. There are slits for the seat tracks. There is also a jute backing, which made the floors rot out on these cars quick.

Jasen, Thanks. Also, I appreciate you posting the pictures. Your take off looks like it was from a 4 door by the presence of the holes for the rear sill plates. I understand that there is only minor trimming to make this work in a 2 door. Is that correct? Looking over the pictures of your car on your web sight, it looks like someone had put carpet in yours also. My original mat had left the car in '65 for the same reason, owner preference. He also took out the bench seat but he stored it for 30 years before discarding it too. He told me that the original interior was just too ugly to leave in the car. He did not order the car. He simply purchased it off of the lot trading in a '64 Pontiac Lemans that was giving him fits (and had been rearended by a Cadillac). If you happen to here about any of these mats for sale, please let me know. It looks like I also need the color keyed window cranks as mine have been replaced with full chrome ones.

Its from a coupe, the mat pushes together and overlaps. Notice where the hole for the front seat belt is, on the rear mat.
