Hi all, sorry for the very slow reply. I found a deal on a CA '69 442 I couldn't pass up and decided to let the '65 go. The auction went nowhere and the winning bidder flaked for supposed health reasons. I went back and forth on relisting it but I really like the '65 too much to let it go, especially for what the high bid was. I still have no room in the garage despite moving the '65 post parts car out back. But there are certainly worse problems to have.
If anyone wants to see pics of the '65 post car check my for sale ad on here or the listing on classic Olds, I have a photobucket link with tons of pics. It really is much worse than it looks and I currently have a '68 W30 basket case project, a '69 post driver, and the '65 convertible. So I'm not taking anything else on for a while. Probably.
The plan for now on the '65 is to do some work on the interior and put a relatively fresh 455 I have on a stand in it over winter. I'm just trying to decide what heads to do and if I want to do a 4spd conversion or not. I have most of the parts... but I'm curious to see how the 455 runs with the ST300 behind it.
ps. would love to meet up with other Olds guys that are not too far away. Will be at Jefferson next weekend (not vending) and may try to hit a drive in or two if there are any cruise nights left this fall.

Glad you get to keep it for now. They are unfortuneately an infectious disease. Haven't made this months mortage but I am high bidder on a set of rechromed tail lght bars. Ironically enough the seller just sold me a very nice set of high driver quality but the fucker also sold me a set of way above driver quality set of tail light housings, rendering the bars useless. I'll turn them loose on the classifieds here soon. And a vert to boot. You did good kid, you did good.

Arggghhh. Ok, good or bad judgment has gotten the best of me again. I'm going to try this one more time, if it doesn't sell I'm keeping it forever, maybe I'll be buried in it. I hate, hate, hate to let this car go. But there is no room in the garage and I need some things for the shop to make it tolerable for the winter. The item number is below, starting price is $5000 and it is no reserve.
I even wrote more than a one paragraph description.
Thanks again for all the kind responses, and I'll still be around when the next winning bidder flakes. Otherwise if it actually sells I'll be over at CO.
300601980574 is the item number. If anyone here wants it I'd let the parts car go with it for not much more.
