Looks good. Where can one purchase the springs for the bell crank?

Looks good. Where can one purchase the springs the springs for the bell crank? My old springs were in good shape, added the one on the front near the carb for a little extra support. It was bought at autozone. They have a section of various parts and springs for emergency type repairs.

DO you know the size of the original sprigs. MY car had a accelerator from a 70s car in it . I do have a correct 4 speed accelerator set up for it minus the springs that go on the bell crank.

Moved the throttle linkage to the top hole on the throttle mechanism on the firewall. It's not supposed to go there so had to improvise but now have plenty of movement to cover the full range. Will send a picture tomorrow. Better part was the total cost was "0" ;D Where can you get one of those "ball studs" (how many different things have we called that "thingy"?)? I'd like to go that route.

I'd like to go that route. The "throttle mechanism" on the firewall is a bell crank, the "ball stud" is a (rod) ball joint. The ball joint in the above pic is the pop off style, where the "ball stud" remains attached to the "bell crank" while the socket is free to be rotated for adjustment. You can purchase several different styles of ball joints, bell cranks, and ball studs. any good auto store will have them My preference is the self aligning bearing style, the pop off style tend to do just that, without a positive travel stop they will pop off.

any good auto store will have them Well apparently here in Fort Wayne we don't have any good auto stores. Best we have is Napa, and they didn't have anything that would work. Even tried Fastenal... I showed them the linkage rod and a pick of the ball stud and bell crank. All they could do was stand there with their mouth hanging open. Fortunately I found some on Summit's website, and ground shipping is here the next day. www.summitracing.com/parts/HLY-20-2/

Weird how they changed the linkage style between 64&65.
