I wouldn't worry about it. If you only drive it on rainy days, the stripe inspection police most likely won't lay down in the water to look.

Here's a good one about driveshafts............ I always wanted to paint the one in my '69 Chevelle drag car like a barber pole so when I left the line at 6000rpm the driveshaft would make everybody smile. I never did it but damn, that car left good----always about a foot in the air. By the way, that driveshaft of yours looks awesome----I say nothing wrong with "Too Good" or a little "Over-Restored".

Thanks, in all seriousness, Jasons restoration is the standard we shoot for. While he probably didn't paint his, I think the detail silver look pretty darn sharp.

Looks sweeeet Olds-P. My car is still sitting in boxes. I really have been idle on the car. No pun intended.

I don't think that is true, my restoration(if that's what you want to call it) would be considered an anti Jason restoration. We all shoot for what we want to shoot for, personally his was an over the edge restoration(in other words I would blown my brains out before I would finish a restoration like that) but that in no way means I don't approve, but it's not for me. Some might say when I finish my vert that I did an over the edge job on what I am doing(NOT) and that's what we all shoot for, but it's not. We do what we envision in our car, whether it be a straight axle front end racer or a air bag cruiser, it is what it is.
