i remember you taking one or two of those to the dump not long ago It turns out that the 330 cranks are the crank of choice when doing buildups on 403 Olds engines. If anyone has one to get rid of they need to advertise them on the big Olds email list and ROP, etc. I'm happy to forward on any emails to the big Olds list.

That thing is awesome. Beats the crate I built to ship a 330 crank in.

Does this mean a 403 crank fits a 330? I have had a rebuilt 403 on the shelf for years. It is about to give up some head bolts.

All that case needs is a handle made of cheap plastic, that breaks at 36" from the floor! Agree, this before the 50 plus oil breather. There was a thread on C O about a crank getting bent, maybe in shipping. It was sent in a cheap,beat-up ond box made mostly of packing tape. This case would really show if it had been dropped or mishandled. ---bil

You'll also need the flexplate/flywheel and balancer from the crank. early engines up to 67 had a different bolt pattern for the flywheel and different balance on the balancer. Some aftermarket balancers have a removable counterweight for the earlier engines.
