I'd like to get a smoker this Spring and try my hand at it.... briskets, ribs, etc. How about some recommendations? I'm not looking to spend a ton of money, but would like to hear the pros and cons of various types, and good models of each. Sounds like a good topic to help start thinking about Spring... forecasters are predicting 6-18" of snow the middle of next week.

WTF?
If it doesn't have tits or tail pipes, you know what you can do with it...

Thats what made the display look blurry. Your buddy Ramz was buy this afternoon, asked if I was making bacon, nope just a couple of baby back ribs, and they were pretty tasty.

hmmm... never considered an indoor smoker. Not sure about that though... make the entire garage smoke up... and then it'll just drift into the house.

It doesn't have to be an indoor smoker, I have a garage door at each end of my garage so all I have to do is crack each door and away I go. It does on occasion get smokey but I don't care. They make covers for them for outside storage, but it would be nice to have it under an awning or something so the weather doesn't stop you from smoking. The smoker is so well insulated that it absolutely does not care what the outside temperate is.

my smoker doesnt work if too cold out, you need to put the cardboard box back over top of it to keep the heat in

I've smoke in below zero F, the smoker does not care what the outside temp is. Often can get deals on them from Cabela's or other outlet stores, cookshack has tremendous customer service.
