66 is a completely different frame than the 65..... also, not all A body frames are exactly the same (by year), either..... There are subtle differences from Buick, to Pontiac, Chevy and Olds.....

I went to a Good Guys car show in CA. over the summer and saw a display these guys had, they are really nice chassis. On A-body frames in general, you can use another frame form another make of that year. It may be slightly different and may require some work here and there, but overall they will work. Of course, they won't be an original correct frame for the make, which you knew already.

Nice frame...way out of my price range Im sure...
there was a guy with a fully finished 66 chevelle frame who was going to let it go cheap...was hoping it would work...I dont mind moving brackets around or little stuff but because our trunks are longer then our chassis must be longer at the back I would think???

Let me say this about changing frames..... As many of you well know frames have at least a partial if not complete V.I.N. somewhere on them. Take caution in "swapping" out a bad one without properly ( if there really is such a way) documenting and recording the V.I.N. change. A problem may arise down the road during a possible sale, insurance claim, etc.-----well you get the idea. The state police can impound the vehicle and it may stay in "jail" for a loooooooooooong time. I had a friend who had such a problem with a "made up" Camaro that he was trying to purchase. The transaction ended up in court and got pretty messy. Just a thought. Until next time..... Dave.

I don't go along with that. The only way to see it is to take the body off of the frame and you know that ain't gonna happen. The vin is hard enough to find on a bare frame that has any surface rust or dirt on it.

Hey BR[], I heard the announcers mention "Alliquippa" (I'm probably spelling it wrong) during the final minutes of the Stealer's game yesterday. Tough one to lose----looks like the Ravens and Stealers are dukin' it out. Were you there? I had some tickets offered to me for yesterday's game but I HATE being out in the cold so I passed.
